The Chalet Bonet or Chalet Voramar, was also known, was one of the first buildings that were built in front of the sea, opposite the Platja de Llevant, in a plot of orchards, which was the precursor of the arrival of wealthy families of Reus , as a second home, taking advantage of the displacement with the Carrilet. It Is of late modernist style and one of the most emblematic buildings of the city consists of ground floor, noble floor and another upper floor, apart from the space used as a garage. It Was designed as Arabizado Palace with English gardens that practically give it all the way around the block. Stands Out over the terrace door a sundial, of blue and green ceramics, where one reads with calligraphy Gothic "Aprofita the temps, that Passa I does not return" ("Seizes the time, that passes and does not return"), in the garden there is a roundabout with a dome of "Trencadís" (mosaics) m Osaicos. The interior was decorated with mural paintings by Agustí Ferrer evoking the departure of Jaume I, from the beach of Salou, for the conquest of Majorca. The interior cannot be visited as it is a private property, but yes the inside is as nice as the outside has to be a joy.
A beautiful, period property
Very well maintained house (chalet), it is a colonial style on the "main promenade" of Salou. In Season Works Restaurant. The Menu is quite tolerable, but not cheap. In July and August a lot of tourists, the rest of the year is a very cozy place. On the waterfront opposite the singing fountains.
