Glencoe or Glencoe Village is the main settlement in Glen Coe in the Lochaber area of the Scottish Highlands. On the 5th (Sat), appreciate the views at Glen Coe, get engrossed in the history at Glencoe Folk Museum, then take in the dramatic natural features at Buachaille Etive Mor, and finally identify plant and animal life at Glen Etive. Here are some ideas for day two: make a trip to Ballachulish Slate Quarry, identify plant and animal life at Highland Titles Nature Reserve, then pause for some photo ops at The Glencoe Massacre Monument, and finally identify plant and animal life at Glencoe Lochan.
