Orlando

— 14 nights

Theme Park Capital of the World

For most people, any mention of Orlando immediately conjures up images of sprawling theme parks filled with characters plucked right out of popular animated movies.
Bring the kids along to Walt Disney World Resort and Discovery Cove. Explore Orlando's surroundings by going to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay (in Tampa), Legoland Florida Resort (in Winter Haven) and NASA Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex (in Merritt Island). Pack the 19th (Sun) with family-friendly diversions at Universal Orlando Resort. Pack the 20th (Mon) with family-friendly diversions at Universal's Islands of Adventure. There's still lots to do: find something for the whole family at SeaWorld, admire the masterpieces at Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art, discover the magic at Magic Kingdom Park, and try out the rides at Happily Ever After Fireworks.

For where to stay, maps, reviews, and tourist information, refer to the Orlando sightseeing planner.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Orlando International Airport, Orlando Sanford International Airport, Daytona Beach International Airport, Leesburg International Airport and Lakeland Linder International Airport.
