Bristol is famous for its Georgian and Victorian architecture, street art, underground music, maritime history, and the world-famous Clifton Suspension Bridge.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Balloon Rides and St Mary Redcliffe Church. Escape the urban bustle at Royal Forest of Dean and Redcliffe Caves. Get out of town with these interesting Bristol side-trips: Wells (The Bishop's Palace and Gardens & Wells Cathedral), Hook Norton Brewery (in Hook Norton) and Cotswolds Distillery (in Stourton). Geneva brings the world to one small city with a huge expat population and the highest number of international organizations in any one city.
Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Plage de Port-Choiseul and Bains des Paquis. Archeological Site at St. Pierre's Cathedral and Cathedrale de St-Pierre will appeal to history buffs. Venture out of the city with trips to Chateau de Chillon (in Veytaux) and Chaplin's World (in Corsier-sur-Vevey). There's still lots to do: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mont Saleve, take a memorable tour with CERN, examine the collection at Chateau de Penthes, and get a new perspective on nature at Museum of Natural History (Museum d'Histoire naturelle).

La Spezia, at the head of the Gulf of La Spezia in the Liguria region of Northern Italy, is the capital city of the province of La Spezia.In terms of population, La Spezia is the second city in the Liguria region, preceded just by Genoa. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Bagno Maurizio and Abbazia di San Fruttuoso. Step out of the city life by going to Isola Palmaria and Baia del Silenzio. Get out of town with these interesting La Spezia side-trips: Pisa (Battistero & Camposanto), Tellaro (Chiesa di San Giorgio & Oratorio di Santa Maria in Selaa) and Passeggiata Anita Garibaldi a Nervi (in Genoa). There's lots more to do: don't miss a visit to Santa Margherita Ligure, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Cattedrale di Cristo Re, look for all kinds of wild species at Area Marina Protetta Portofino, and get to know the fascinating history of Centro Storico del Paese di Tellaro.
