Nazaré is a town and a municipality in subregion Oeste and Leiria District, in Portugal.It is one of the most popular seaside resorts in the Silver Coast/Costa de Prata, Portugal. Start off your visit on the 4th (Thu): make a trip to O Sitio, get great views at Miradouro do Suberco, then enjoy the sand and surf at Praia do Norte, and finally kick back and relax at Praia da Nazare. Keep things going the next day: don't miss a visit to Obidos Village and then explore the historical opulence of Castelo de Óbidos.

Traveling by car from Coimbra to Nazare takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. In June in Nazare, expect temperatures between 28°C during the day and 16°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 6th (Sat) early enough to go by car to Tavira.
