A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
Attractions like The Paris Catacombs and Disneyland Paris make great kid-friendly stops. Kick off your visit on the 24th (Fri): contemplate the long history of Colosseum, contemplate the long history of Palatine Hill, then have fun and explore at Welcome to Rome, then delve into the distant past at Pantheon, and finally make a trip to Trevi Fountain. On the next day, admire the masterpieces at Vatican Museums, contemplate the long history of St. Peter's Basilica, then get to know the fascinating history of Piazza Navona, and finally pause for some serene contemplation at Santa Maria in Trastevere.

Getting from Paris to Rome by flight takes about 5.5 hours. Other options: do a combination of flight and train; or drive.
