Capital of the North

Unofficially dubbed the Capital of the North, Manchester is known for its influence on industry and music, as well as its world-renowned connection to sports.
You'll get in some beach time at Angel Bay and Pensarn Beach. Popular historic sites such as York Minster and Chatsworth House are in your itinerary. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Manchester: York (National Railway Museum & York Shambles), Liverpool Cathedral (in Liverpool) and Tarn Hows (in Coniston).
