Saffron Walden is a market town in the Uttlesford district of Essex, England. Kick off your visit on the 7th (Wed): take in nature's colorful creations at Audley End House and Gardens, take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Mary's Church, then relax in the rural setting at Wash Farm, and finally contemplate the long history of Mountfitchet Castle.
