  • Avoided much of the rain, but did enjoy these well tended gardens. With a duck pond and attendant Canada Geese, a statue of Queen Victoria, and a very attractive but weather beaten formal garden, it....  more »
  • Lovely park, very clean. It was a pleasure to make a daily visit here. The place is beautiful and very relaxing next to the town centre. Next to the meadows, it’s a perfect place to enjoy the sun...  more »

  • Looks good for children. A splash zone and an outside pool. Changing rooms, toilets and a snack kiosk are all here. We could see the Thames but on our visit we weren't able to get near it. Benches for sitting and bins for rubbish were all around.
  • Very nice place to have a stroll and relax. The few ruins that are there give you something to look at if you don't care for the multitude of bright coloured flowers. The only downside can be the screaming of children, but this isn't a problem most days.
