Ladybower Reservoir is a large Y-shaped reservoir and one of the most popular tourist attractions in the area. It is also one of the largest bell-mouth spillways in the world. We walked the circular of the reservoir and it's a relatively easy but long walk. Great views and lots of bird life and wildlife. There is a small cafe which was doing take away drinks and snacks... more »

Beautiful and lovely views, great for long walks and runs. Parking is free by the side of the road I'd you can find any, else you can use Severn Trent car park which costs £3.00 for the whole day. If you plan to walk around the whole reservoir then plan at least 3 to 4 hours for this.

Very serene and pretty place. We went visited during long weekend and parking was difficult to find. One of the top places in peak district.
