Delta Force Paintball Reviews
We actually bought this package at a promotional stand at the Brisbane EKKA in Australia and were told we could use it in the UK - and we did! Booking was easy and this was a treat for our 15 year... more »
Amazing day out! Staff are all very friendly and happy to help! Went with a group of friends and everyone of us would go again. Amazing day 10/10 more »
Visited for a day's paintball with a group of ladies plus two chaps. We were mostly newbies and generally not looking forward to the experience. Lots of people around us were obviously experienced and had upgraded their weapons (extra cost) which further added to our trepidation. The staff were excellent ensuring that everyone stuck to the safety rules, but they were also really enthusiastic and made sure that we all got stuck in at a level that we felt comfortable with. Two skirmishes followed by a short break worked well and allowed us to cool down and rehydrate and also discuss our kills and bruises. Once you've been shot and resurrected a couple of times it's far less intimidating and much more enjoyable. If you're not careful you can get through a lot of balls so watch out if you're on a tight budget. The smoke bombs (extra cost) aren't that useful on a windy day and the grenades are good for a couple of the areas, but get advice so you know where to use them to best effect if you decide to buy some. The pizzas (ordered in) offered for lunch looked good, but we opted to take our own lunch. Make sure you take plenty of drinks (or money) as it's surprisingly warm work shooting people and it would be easy to get really dehydrated. We were all pleasantly surprised at how much fun it was even with just the basic kit with some extra balls. The guys running it really did ensure that we all had a great time, offering tactical advice and support to keep everyone involved. Even though we were up against fairly motivated team with a lot of experienced players, we still managed to win some skirmishes. Sneaky, patient snipers can make a real difference and it's not all about break neck sprints with all guns firing. If you haven't tried it, this is a very good place to come to, it's professionally run and the staff put a lot of effort into making sure that everyone has a good time.
They charge you for entry but it doesn't include enough ammo for a satisfying game. Guns poor, didn't fire consistently, some guns better than others. Takes 4-6 shots aiming at a target to hit it. Forced you to accept Junk mail as a term of registering on line which they required, but then made us all register on paper too. All in all very annoying. Games look like they could be fun if you bought more ammo, but how satisfying is it to pay to win.
