  • Fabulous place to visit for such a good price! Plenty of parking available. Beautiful surroundings to walk round and a lovely walled garden with a Wizard of Oz theme with characters made from every day items. Flowers looked lovely too. There is a fab and cheap nursery there too that sell some great plants!! The house is great with plenty to do Inside for kids to do. Staff were so friendly towards our little one and got her involved in things. You can borrow an explorer pack as well for kids which will keep them well entertained. Also some dressing up and old fashioned toys for kids to play with. There is also a lovely little zoo with a few animals to see and well looked after. Cafe is good too and plenty of areas to eat a picnic. You can also take a lovely long walk down across the sea front to the town centre from here or take a land train. Definatley a good place to visit and a must do if in Yorkshire area.
  • Beautiful surroundings, great place for a picnic and to keep the little ones entertained! Great areas to run around with a ball, sit and eat picnic and a large house to discover the history of the site. Also the ice cream in the cafe is one of the best I've ever had.
