Bristol Blue Glass was founded back in 1988 by James Adlington, with the help of glass maker Peter St Clair. The aim was to re-establish a tradition that had been lost for over 60 years - the art of glass-making. Twenty-nine years on, at Bristol Blue Glass, we still endeavour to keep the tradition alive. We develop our makers and their skills as we go, adding new products to our range following customer demand and the tendencies of our Makers. Before you head to Bristol, plan trip itinerary details with our user-friendly Bristol online trip itinerary builder , to make sure you see all that Bristol has to offer, including Bristol Blue Glass.
All our work is hand free blown, without the use of molds and although we are most famous for our traditional Bristol Blue Glass, our work also includes our Ruby range and sculptural items. In our friendly Studio Shop you will find a wide variety of art glass in a host of amazing colours.

We have been imitated by Charlatans throughout our existence and this continues, to this day - beware pale imitations.
