Bristol International Balloon Fiesta Reviews
I had fond memories of the night time Bristol balloon fiesta (8 years ago?), so decided to return this year (daytime). Sooo disappointed, it felt like there were hundreds of touristy-type stands... more »

Amazing thing. The whole event is so perfect. You've got lots and lots of different foods available. You can buy drinks, beers and more nearly anywhere. You can buy gifts or you can spend lots of time playing different games, riding ferris-wheel or bumper cars. In the morning, very early, you have the first launch of the balloons and in the evening there is the second run. So you should be able to see them even if you miss one of them. On the last day there is the display of lights and music. The balloons are illuminated to the song that is currently playing. This is the moment to hop on the ferris-wheel and enhance this incredible experience. The fiesta ends with a nice and long display of fireworks.
Really good, if there's no wind, but get there early if possible! I've been going to the Bristol Balloon Fiesta for the last few years, and I've noticed its getting busier and busier. I know this is a good thing, but it is getting to the point where you cant find anywhere to stand let alone sit. I wouldn't mind if they ticketed the even in order to make space
