The 32 F6m (105 ft) Cabot Tower is an icon of Bristol’s skyline. The tower commemorates the navigator and explorer John Cabot, and was constructed 400 years after he set sail from Bristol to North America. Walk up the spiral staircase (approximately 100 steps) and you'll be rewarded with panoramic views of the city. Be sure to bring along your camera, as the view includes picturesque parkland, the city harbor, and some of Bristol’s most famous attractions. The tower has two viewing platforms, breaking up the climb and providing views for those who can’t make it all the way to the top. A bit of an uphill walk to get to the tower but the views from the mid-level landing and the top. Of the tower are well worth the effort. Great photos with my 4 year old granddaughter who referred to the view from the top as “epic”. The view is amazing from the top, Bristol look awesome! Yes, it is hard to climb up there! Try to visit on sunny day rather than rainy one which we had :( . but still good though

It's hard to walk to the tower from Bristol cathedral (due to the uphill) and go up the stairs. But it's definitely worth it. The amazing 360 degree view and cool wind relief you in the summer.
