  • Not sure what’s gone wrong here, read the positive reviews and have previously heard good things about the roasts. Clearly things have changed under new management. I wouldn’t leave a bad review...  more »
  • Made me and my friend sick. Don’t waste your time. Won’t leave a picture of my toilet. Won’t go back, would not recommend.  more »

  • Unfortunately this pub has gone rapidly downhill since Clara and Ewan left. The current barman is clearly unhappy in his job and it was a chore for him to serve us. The bar was busy due to football and there was only one person serving. The barman was very miserable and obviously didn't want to be there. We asked if we could pay by card and he raised his eyebrows and said "well if you have to but I'd rather you didn't", we also asked for a glass of tap water which he ignored. Luckily there are apparently going to be new owners in the new year so hopefully it will be restored to its original standards.
  • If I could rate it lower I would! Me and my sister went here for a Sunday lunch and after waiting 45 mins, in a dirty workshop environment, we were presented with cold roast on a cold plate. When I complained the owner, James, was arrogant and rude. I requested a refund and when I did, the best part, he agreed saying I should leave too. Good riddance James. Shame cos front of house was charming.
