    Popped in there whilst in Chelmsford, greeted by a nice friendly lady, it quite small but very interesting with lots of items to look at. Thought it was interesting especially for children. Overall...  more »

    Lovely little place to take the kids when you're looking for something different to do. We visited when they had some art activities on at Easter time, and it was lovely. Quite small, but still lots to do.

    We finally went to the police museum for the first time despite having lived here for 10 years. My daughter absolutely loved it and it was a really welcoming atmosphere for the children. The exhibits are really interactive and encourage the children to get hands on with things. They can try on uniforms, stand in a witness box, have their fingerprints taken. The museum also put on a lot of activities for children young and old.
