Theme Park · Water / Amusement Park
Amuse yourself at Clacton Pier, a large pier complete with arcades, rides for all ages, restaurants, and even a bowling alley. If you want to glimpse life beneath the pier, pay a visit to the SeaQuarium, where you can view local, freshwater, and tropical marine life. Connect with marine life in another fashion by spending the day fishing off the dock for four-pound Carpling. End the day onboard a steamer cruise along the Thames, which romantically passes under the Tower Bridge. Save money and time by booking amusement park bracelets, bowling, fishing, and boat rides online. • Iv'e had phone Clacton Pier twice recently and it is a complete joy. You dial the number and someone answers! How about that? Even during covid. The lady/girl I spoke to twice was not only...  more »
  • Our first visit to Clayton so we made a bee line to the pier and enjoyed it. It is great to see them investing and refurbishing the pier and installing new rides.  more »

  • The beach has had a huge amount of money spent on it, Beautifully sandy. The area has had a regeneration program. Huge range of activities for the whole family. Loads of lovely restaurants to choose from. The only down side was the toilets on the beach, could do with an overall. But these are public toilets so you might have to put up with it.
  • Lovely big pier with loads of arcade machines. The machines are fun and there’s plenty of different ones. I’ve won a lot of things easily, especially on the 2p machines. The pier has good bars/restaurants too, with reasonably priced food and drinks. I’ve also visited the fortune teller/palm reader. She’s a lovely elderly lady priced at £10 per palm or £15 for both. The only downside to the pier is the aquarium which charges £10 for a group of 4 but is only a tiny room with barely any fish.
