  Large park in the centre of the town with the historic castle at the top of the hill. There are plenty of benches to sit and watch the world go by and beautiful flower beds and large green spaces.  more »

  We had a wonderful time here. The parks are so much fun for the kids. Scenery is beautiful for picnics and relaxing! Particularly liked pedaling in the swan boats. Entry is free. Would of been 5 star but no parking available. Lots to do here for the day though and will return. Recommend.

  I mean. I literally just produced a play about this place, in this place, so my position is obviously biased. But really, I would have done what I did unless this place wasn't fundamentally awesome. I love Castle Park, I love the castle, it's a beautiful place to spend time. No one who lives near here should allow themselves to let it become invisible. It's an incredible spectacle. As great an attraction as I've seen in the UK. If you're there just look twice. You'll realise what I mean. What a place.
