Aboard Royal Yacht Britannia, see how the royals lived while on the water. Originally launched in 1953 and decommissioned in 1997, this luxury ship features lavish living and entertainment quarters spread across five main decks. Take an audio tour, which is included in the cost of your ticket. The tour covers the bridge, state apartments, royal bedrooms, sun lounge, royal deck tearoom, the crew's quarters, and the gleaming engine room. Hear details on each room, see photos of the royal family onboard the ship, and discover what life was like for crewmembers serving royalty. If you have a sweet tooth, don't leave without trying fudge from the onboard sweet shop. Had a fantastic day visiting this wonderful ship, so interesting on how it was used and what daily life would have been, audio tour was fantastic, I use a crutch and was able to make my way around with no difficulty, they have lifts to bring you to every floor. Went to the restaurant for some lunch it was amazing. The fudge shop on board is really interesting and the fact they make it on board makes it even better. Such choice of different flavours. Highly recommended for everyone.

Great self-guided tour (with phone things that talk you through it all) and stunning ship, enjoyed it a lot more than I expected. Very interesting, also has a beautiful tea room if you want to stop for food, and there is a cute little fudge shop on board. Definitely worth a visit!
