Steall Waterfall
Put on your best walking shoes and explore the area surrounding Steall Waterfall, Scotland’s second-highest waterfall. The falls, featuring a single drop of 120 m (390 ft), can best be seen from the path running through the Nevis Gorge. The path is clear and well marked, with just a few rougher sections easily crossed in good footwear. As you walk through this wilderness area noted for its diverse plant and animal life, take a little time to enjoy the blossoming flowers and the cascading streams of clear water. Upon reaching the famous waterfall, test your balance by crossing the river on the steel rope bridge. Bring lots of bug repellant, waterproof clothes, and don’t forget to charge your camera. Gobsmacked. Not enough words to describe this absolutely beautiful scenery. We walked for absolutely ages. Luckily I swapped my trainers for sturdy climbing boots. The zip wire at the end was a superbly fitting bonus especially when we walked to the most refreshing massive waterfall. Got quite a bot muddy, but worth every effort.

Very pretty waterfall, justified walk from the very busy car park to the top (about 30/40 minutes). However it was very busy on the walk up and near the base of the falls. Recommend walking further along the path onto a riverbed with good views and fewer people. Good luck parking!
