Clean stretch of beach makes for a lovely family day especially on a sunny day but also if the clouds are over its a lovely spot. Feels safe. Great for kids of all ages. My little one loves to paddle. Plenty of beach huts overlook which sets the beautiful English seaside scene. Some huts to hire- definitely check it out. Always respect the beach- take a picnic and use the numerous bins on the promenade or take your litter home and keep this gem of a beach safe and pleasant for all. Plenty of brave swimmers baring the cold. Dog friendly in certain parts. Cycling path too. Short walk from Walton pier. Several toilet blocks which are also clean (as beach toilets go). Make sandcastles, collect shells, go crabbing or just relax!
