  • 1st time walking through here. There were loads of runner last time. Not too many bins which could either be good or a bad thing  more »
  • Dog walkers, joggers and a picnic paradise. All within easy walking distance of the centre and next door to the Peoples Palace and Winter Gardens  more »

  • I was at Glasgow Green for the annual Pedal For Scotland Glasgow to Edinburgh cycle, as were thousands of other cyclists. This was the very last one, and I'm sure everyone will miss it. We were given a great send off and piped on our way by the gent in the photo. A great day, made all the more special by the send off from " The Green".
  • An ancient common green in the centre of the City. Steeped in history and very nice to just look at and stroll around. This is where James Watt came up with the idea of the steam condenser, making steam power a possibility. Bonnie Prince Charlie set up camp with his army here and demanded food, clothing and all sorts of other aid.
