#10 of 29 in Parks in Glasgow
Linn Park is an 82-hectare (200-acre) park surrounded by the suburbs of Cathcart, Simshill, in Glasgow, as well as Netherlee in East Renfrewshire. It is Glasgow’s third largest park, after Pollok Country Park and Dams to Darnley Country Park, although Dams to Darnley is half in the aforementioned East Renfrewshire. Both Linn and Pollok parks have the White Cart Water flowing through them. Some areas in the park are unsuitable for prams and the infirm.

  • A JOY TO WALK OR RUN ROUND . Although it's been a decade since I ran round it ! The paths are safe and well kept suitable for prams and dog walks. River, plants and trees support great habitat for established and new wildlife.
  • I forgot a pair of Wellington boots and as a result sacrificed a good pair of addidas' venturing through Linn Park on a dark, cold, rainy winters night. Basically had to double up the old mobile for GPS and torch action to get myself to where I needed to be. Needs proper appropriate night time lighting
