The Pleasure Beach, Great Yarmouth

3.7
#2 of 8 in Theme Parks in Norfolk
Theme Park · Water / Amusement Park
First opened in 1909, The Pleasure Beach is a beachside amusement park with over 30 rides. New rides are added every other year, while some historic rides that have been around since the park's opening are still in operation. Take a ride on a roller coaster built in 1932, or enjoy some of the more leisurely heritage attractions, such as the carousel and the scenic railway. Visit the Pleasure Beach Gardens to relax at Sara's Tearooms, a mini-golf course, and the Segway race track. Refresh yourself at the ice cream parlor or on-site cafe. Admission to the park is always free, but you pay for the rides individually. If you plan to spend the entire day, save money by purchasing a wristband. Make The Pleasure Beach a centerpiece of your Great Yarmouth vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Great Yarmouth trip itinerary planner.

  • Attended on sat 29th, had such a great time. Me, wife and 11 year old adrenaline junkie who loved it. Pay a one off entry fee for a timed 3 hr window and then unlimited rides until the window ends.....  more »
  • Brilliant day out and great value for money. Hardly queued for anything and the food was very reasonable. We precooked online and arrived at 12pm to a walking queue we were in the park in minutes  more »

  • Excellent place for the family. Buying the armband in advance before going on the day was the best thing to do and worth it. We had a baby, toddler and 9 year old and they all could go on rides (a part from baby) great day out and good opening times for families too!
  • Love the rides. Good that they have a wristband system and they allow everyone to ride almost every ride. Loved their roller coaster. It is one of the oldest roller coasters still running in the UK. And still, I have lots of fun. I want to go back there again.
