Kenwood House, London

4.4
Renowned for the artwork it houses, Kenwood House is a grand, stately home with a beautiful garden and sculptures. Dating from the 17th century, architects and owners of the attraction gradually added a library, portico, offices, kitchen buildings, and a brewery over the years. Today, the brewery serves as a restaurant where you can grab lunch after exploring the lavishly decorated rooms and grounds. Look for the sculptures by Barbara Hepworth, Henry Moore, and Eugène Dodeigne in the gardens, and take a walk through the ancient woodlands. This attraction was also featured in the 1999 film "Notting Hill." A visit to Kenwood House represents just the start of the adventure when you use our London trip planner to plot your vacation.

  • Joke! Not so many, not many. But, at the top of a glimpse of the central part of London, I glimpsed. Lovely ride, especially if you are family. Meet a typical home of the high bourgeoisie of the 18/19 century, if you want to have a picnic or even indulge in a typical tea or even English lunch. Good for a Sunday without rain.

  • Mostly I've been in the very substantial grounds outside this place, which make an excellent walk on a nice weather day. Actually all times of year it is nice walking around here. You can go from here around Hampstead Heath for even MORE good walking. Plenty of views of the city of London from here too. Kenwood House itself is also well worth a look inside. I don't know its history, but a very nice mansion it is full of interesting decoration and paintings. Bus 210 stops outside.
  • Such a lovely park! You can enter the Kenwood house and admire the fantastic collection of art and amazing rooms! Next, to the house, there is a lovely coffee shop where you can take a break and have a bite whiles exploring the variety of flowers and birds!
