Mother Kelly's, London

4.3
#263 of 1,205 in Nightlife in London
With 19 dedicated taps and six huge fridges bulging at the hinges, we have every style of beer you can imagine from all over the world. You can always expect to find affordable and familiar beers alongside more esoteric, limited editions. Whether you decide to drink in, buy to take away or order from our online shop, we’ve got your beer needs covered.

We don’t have a kitchen (that would have taken up too much beer space) but we do offer sharing boards and feature some of London’s best street food vendors every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Mother Kelly's is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our , world travel planner Edition.

  • I headed to Mother Kelly's, Bethnal Green after a stressful day at the parish. East is, by all standards, a hip place to be, and what could possibly be more hip than having a fancy craft beer in an...  more »
  • There’s a big choice of beer, and a lot of it is really good. It is pricey (some cans are £20 and quite a lot are £8, and 1/2 pint average about £6). But that’s London. Worse thing is the food. They....  more »

  • Total disappointment! I had a great expectations, but too many things were no good. Of course there are a great choice of beer - 19 on tap and hundreds bottled. I asked from beer list for the day a beer which was a pint there, but they gave me 2/3 pint for a bigger price, than the one I asked from the daily menu. And they thought it is normal to change the conditions without warning. And no excuses for their mistake. They say the kitchen is open 24 hrs, but there is no any kitchen. The pie I ordered was stone cold, just taken from the fridge. The prices of the beers are high. 5 pounds is good for a pint, but no good for 1/3 of pint. I have waited for a long time to visit this popular place, but now is only a disappointment. Never again!
  • Great bar for beer lovers under the railway arches on paradise row! Over 15 craft beers and a few ciders on tap, that change weekly, and they also have a HUGE range of bottles to drink in or take away. Knowledgeable staff that'll give recommendations when needed! Always a nice chilled crowd, outdoor seating, pop up food stalls in the summer, a fab place to spend a few hours with friends at the weekend!
