From Wimbledon Rail/Underground station: bus 93 to the Rose & Crown, Wimbledon Village, then a 10 minute walk along the south side of Wimbledon Common. Southside is next to Kings College School, and opposite a small green with two pubs - the Crooked Billet and the Hand in Hand. The nearest railway station is Wimbledon.
From Raynes Park Rail Station: bus 200 to Edge Hill, then walk down Wrights Alley (close to bus stop) to Woodhayes Road. The house is on the immediate left.
Parking: there is no parking within Southside House, and although Woodhayes Road has no restrictions, it is often difficult to find a parking space nearby. There is ticketed parking on the south side of the common. For travelers who use our online itinerary creator, London holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Southside House and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

A unplanned visit was a real treat on a sunny Saturday. The house is real Tardis inside and very eccentric. Fascinating history and two impressive art collections. Tour guides live in the house, all work for the family trust and are hugely knowledgeable. Well worth a visit.
Excellent hospitality, engaging, charming and very well informed guides, a hidden treasure on historical importance.
