Cannot praise this charity highly enough. It was the most fantastic experience from start to finish. We stayed overnight with four friends for my birthday in a very well appointed lodges, and were given a lovely welcome by Karen and her team. Afternoon tea overlooking the lions followed by a very informative tour led by Becky and an opportunity to feed a big cat. Dinner which was excellent, breakfast and another tour in the morning of the remaining cats, highlight feeding a white tiger who is absolutely huge and so gentle. All the cats looked healthy and happy, and clearly the staff have an affinity with the animals and really enjoy their vocations. This isn't a zoo, you have the opportunity to be very close to the animals and learn a great deal about the conservation work. I didn't stop smiling for two days! Well done to everyone who works and volunteers for this amazing charity. I would recommend this experience to anyone who is interested in the conservation of big cats.
This place was fantastic. We did an experience where we were given a private tour of all the cats and got to feed two each, I fed a snow leopard and a cheetah who were both very gentle, while my wife fed a lion and black leopard. Everyone goes to see Maya but our favourite was Neron the black leopard. I defiantly recommend booking an experience here as it’s not a conventional zoo so you can’t just turn up.
