Seven natural habitats and ecosystems and more than 1,000 different species are featured at Naples Botanical Garden. Cultivated tropical gardens and restored natural habitats spread across 70 hectares (170 acres). The plant life includes treats like a Thailand riverside scene and a Balinese temple garden. You can learn how the indigenous people of Brazil live in harmony with nature, and later watch performances at the Water Garden. A children's garden is filled with butterflies, treehouses, caves, climbing platforms, and more. Naples Botanical Garden Reviews
What a beautiful oasis away from all the hustle and bustle. You can stroll around at your leisure or take a guided tour (highly recommended). You learn so much from what you see and hear. Have a quest... more »
We have a yearly pass. This is an exceptional must see for visitors in the Marco Naples area As an artist & photographer I always leave inspired. Sometimes live entertainment (eg string quartets). more »
The various themed gardens throughout are beautifully designed and delightful to all the senses. You really get a sense of all the flora and fauna that can be cultivated in a tropical/sub-tropical climate. I love the Oriental Gardens and the Butterfly Garden. The children’s area is great, no matter what your chronological age is! There’s live music on Sunday afternoons, either in the gardens or inside, if it’s summer (and crazy hot here!!). There are some amazing art exhibits that travel through as well. I’m a hard-sell to give five stars to anything. However, my reason for four stars here is, despite the sweet and vegan-friendly restaurant that makes killer juices in-house, that a couple of the shorter stairs throughout the property don’t have railings...or handicapped-accessible ramps, which make it very challenging to navigate in places. The gift shop is very diversified and not full of touristy stuff so be sure to take a browse! And, overall, enjoy the Botanical Gardens!
I have been to many botanical gardens across the US. Given the location is Florida, this is an ok botanic garden. But being in the temperate zone of south Florida, the garden is rather limited in the variety and seasonal changes. The Chicago Botanic Garden is much, much better thanks to the seasonal changes. Further it is far more expansive with a much larger variety of gardens. It also has several greenhouses so you can see Florida, desert and rain forest plants.
