Lake Eola Park, Orlando

#3 of 34 in Parks in Orlando
Lake Eola Park is known for its namesake lake with its recognizable fountain, as well as views of the city skyline. Plan a picnic on the green, or children can enjoy the playground. Residents and visitors mingle at events on the great lawn and along the many jogging paths. After dark, the fountain changes color, and a walkway around the lake fills with visitors eager to see the spectacle. A Chinese pagoda in the eastern part of the park joins the light show, and LED lights keep the walkways well lit. • Beautiful park with a strange audience. In the center of Orlando is the Eola Lake and the associated park. Surrounded by high-rise buildings, there is a beautiful backdrop. The audience is very mixed. Many residents from the high-rise buildings go for a walk in the park with their (mostly very small) dogs. In addition, there are a few tourists and also a few crazy people (normal in America). They either talk to themselves all the time or shout at strangers (me) and shout something with "White Power". Of course, this does not necessarily contribute to well-being. Once you've seen Lake Eola Park, it's enough.

  • Fireworks: Early on people would approach the green areas around the "Lake Eola" to contemplate the traditional spectacle of lights and noise that are fireworks celebrating the Independence of the United States, with a temperature above 100 degrees during the day refreshment something and the thousands of people gathered sbrought in enjoying a beautiful shower of noise, light and color that cost the city about $30,000, for 20 minutes. You have to admire the order, discipline, and cleanliness of the city.

  • You may wonder why I have posted this picture. This will actually be the place where I will have my marriage ceremony. If you want to spend a quiet and beautiful moment with your loved one. I will always recommend Lake Eola to any couple who wants to be together forever. The memories that will be created by walking and talking together at Lake Eola are amazing and priceless. The only cost that you will have will be the $2.00 for the parking during the day and after 6:00pm it is free parking. I know for a fact that "true love starts at Lake Eola."
  • Such a nice Farmers market. Just wish I had of had more time. Nice playground for the kids to burn some energy. You can feed swans and ducks. Walk your dogs. Parking is good to. Either garage or if you are lucky and find a spot, parallel park along the street.
