  • Sadly, renovations were being done with many parts temporarily closed. What we did see were some wonderful works by Monet, Rodin, Salvador Dali etc.

  • Too many exhibits closed, no Australian impressionist or colonial art to be seen anywhere. A lot of space not much historical artwork all modern. Suggest you visit Melbourne if you want to see...

  • Absolutely loved the Jeffrey Smart exhibit we attended. Incredible array of paintings from the artist's life, showing his artistic evolution and perspective from the 40's through to shortly before his death in 2013. It was so fascinating and the gallery arrayed the paintings beautifully.
  • An interesting space that had a number of special exhibitions on display. Largely seems to be a collection of modern art, with a focus on women artists and indigenous voices at the time of my visit. You must pay to park, and there are a number of other interesting places nearby to visit. Likely not suitable for younger children.
