Australia might be best known for its exotic wildlife and beautiful landscapes, but you can explore its more scientific and technological side at Questacon. More than 200 interactive exhibits show you physics, chemistry, and engineering in action. Discover how a whirlwind of air and mist make things move at the Jellyfish Vortex. Test your response to visual stimuli and your hand-eye coordination at Batak. Although the museum aims most of its exhibits at kids, it entertains and educates visitors of all ages. Before you head to Canberra, plan trip itinerary details with our user-friendly Canberra trip itinerary builder tool, to make sure you see all that Canberra has to offer, including Questacon.

  • Lots of fun for the kids and us, we couldn’t fit it all into the day. Loads of interactive play and activities across multiple rooms. A great setup.

  • Great place for interactive learning & fun for all ages. For the younger kids it is a little difficult to keep them engaged in reading & learning for long but the hands on sections are entertaining enough to keep them occupied for a couple of hours. The puppet shows & hourly shows are really fun &/or interesting and worthwhile. A must visit.
  • one of the most fun things you can do in Canberra. great for kids and family. but I also enjoyed it as an adult. if you want to go there, have to book ticket on their website a week or 3 days before, because most of the day the ticket will be sold out if you go there straight away, especially weekends.
