Kaiserburg Nurnberg
Visit one of the most important imperial residences of the Middle Ages at Kaiserburg Nurnberg. The hilltop sandstone castle complex and the ancient walls surrounding the city are considered one of the most effective medieval war systems in Europe. You can tour the imperial apartments to admire original 16th-century décor. You also can visit the castle's Romanesque double chapel with Gothic ornamentation. Enjoy the city views with a beverage at the beer garden adjacent to the castle. One of the best tourist attractions in Nuremberg. Buy the combination tickets to visit the castle, tower and the well. It's definitely worth it. You can easily spend close to 2 - 3 hours here. The view from the top of the tower is spectacular. Highly recommended.

Great experience. Inner chambers worth visiting too. Before the visit I had no clue about Holy Roman Empire on German lands and now I feel myself as a semipro on that matter. Very good quality souvenirs and n the souvenir shop as well
