Wells — 1 night

Wells is a cathedral city and civil parish in the Mendip district of Somerset, on the southern edge of the Mendip Hills. On the 19th (Fri), stop by The Cheddar Gorge Cheese Company, Head underground at Cheddar Gorge, then get in on the family fun at Wookey Hole Caves, and finally admire the striking features of Wells Cathedral.

Bath to Wells is an approximately 1-hour car ride. You can also take a bus. In August, daily temperatures in Wells can reach 22°C, while at night they dip to 14°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 20th (Sat) early enough to go by car to Glastonbury.
