Remscheid is a city in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Head to Haribo Fabrikverkauf and Sieg Carrefor plenty of shopping. Visit Schloss Paffendorf and Kloster Kamp for their historical value. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Remscheid: Wildpark (in Bad Marienberg), Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord (in Duisburg) and Neanderthal Museum (in Mettmann). There's still lots to do: examine the collection at Deutsches Rontgen-Museum, explore the historical opulence of Schloss Burg, sample the tasty concoctions at Krombacher Brauerei GmbH & Co. Though its origins date to the 12th century, Wuppertal has been at the forefront of technological development since the German Empire.
Zentrum fuer Internationale Lichtkunst Unna and Neanderthal Museum are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Head to Haribo Fabrikverkauf and Dortmunder Ufor plenty of shopping. Venture out of the city with trips to Wildpark Warstein (in Warstein), Bergehalde Grosses Holz (in Bergkamen) and Mohnetalsperre (in Soest). Next up on the itinerary: pause for some serene contemplation at St. Laurentius Wuppertal and see the interesting displays at German Football Museum.
