Would have rated 5 star but I thought was unfair lots of attractions where closed off yet still had to pay full price. It's not cheap to get in so obviously you want to make most for your money...

What an excellent family day out. We usually go to Colchester Zoo but decided to try here for a change. Only 30 minutes further than Colchester from Ipswich and well worth the visit. Using Groupon..... more

Lovely zoo. Friendly staff, good coffee. Lots of seating around to eat a picnic, or eat food from food outlets on site. My child loves the play area which is suitable for a wide age range. Bird show is fantastic. Gift shop has some really lovely stock.

Really great day out. Well kept facilities, and they have such a great variety of wildlife here too. The half hour shows are really fun, was great to see some of the animals up close. It was fun and interesting for my 10 year old. Also have a great little park with a brilliant slide that my daughter didn't want to stop playing on. Plenty of space to have some sandwiches, and easy to park up and come back to collect lunch (hang on to your receipt to get back in). All in all, really great, and will look forward to going back in the summer.
