A thrill-seeker’s paradise, Thorpe Park includes over 25 rides and attractions designed to exhilarate the whole family. The park is split into a number of themed play areas, which include Port Atlantis (the park’s main entrance), Amity Cove, Canada Creek, Ranger Country, and Neptune’s Kingdom. Try a few runs on Stealth, which holds the record for fastest acceleration of any European roller coaster, with speeds reaching 130 km/h (80 mph) in less than 1.8 seconds. The park also features the Swarm, Europe’s tallest and fastest winged roller coaster. You can arrange to stay at the park’s on-site hotel, offering simple but comfortable accommodation at the heart of this family-friendly site. The park is open open March to November. Fantastic place to visit for adrenaline rush and fix. Some of the rides are simply crazy. The ghost Train is especially clever technology which is very scary. Major downside is the car parking charges. Why? It's their land yet they charge you £8 to park to spend a day on site. If I did go again I would seriously look at parking in streets outside the area to save a few quid.

The kids love it. The rides were good although some were closed but there were still enough for a very full day. My daughter was a little small for a quite a few. So if you have two kids of different heights might be worth having two adults. There is a surprisingly good selection of vegetarian and vegan food. So pleased lockdown has finally eased enough to allow family treats like this again!
