Clacton Pier, Clacton-on-Sea

One of the best sandy beach.easy to access and free parking at majority of the street (even on sea front).need to read to read the sign for the restrictions. We love the golden sand especially at the right side of the pier. Kids loved the little train ride at the pier. There is wrist band(£8.99pp) entry to all the small rides except couple of special rides. The best thing is the queue time is very short.lots to play at arcade as well.

My local pier. I visit here every few months. Always tidy, with plenty of attractions. Good arcade with more new machines being delivered the other week I was here. Good selection of seagulls around the end of the pier to feed bread to. Only thing they need to improve I found so far is the arcade machines show a discount price for VIP card holders of 10% . I enquired about a VIP card as I play about £20 month in the arcades which I would think is above the average yearly spend for the customers here. I was told by the guy at the counter you have to spend £1000 1st on the card before you get the VIP prices! That's crazy. I can't imagine any customer who spends anything near that plus then you have spend over that to see the savings. Spend £1000 to save 10p a game after that. NO. That means if you played 1100 games , you save £10. Why fit all arcade machines with these screens and computers for nobody to be able to use them?
