Opened in 1979, this progressive zoo fast became a last refuge for many species. Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens is a strong supporter of The World Zoo Conversation Strategy, and the collection was the first to be signed over in entirety to the Joint Management of Species Programme. Observe species such as monkeys, tigers, leopards, crocodiles, snakes, and red pandas. Study the wildfowl from the Lime Tree Lookout, visit the Crocodile House, and try the Tiger Tree Walk high in the trees surrounding the tigers’ enclosure. Try to catch the feeding of the big cats. The rope bridge is a highlight for children. Take a picnic or eat at the cafe. Use Inspirock's suggestions to plan your Filby trip and find the best activities and attractions for your vacation.

Our family and friends enjoyed another excellent day out at Thrigby. Very clean. We'll presented. Informative and friendly staff. Great to get close up with the animals. Prices are very reasonable for this quality experience. It's one of those attractions you just don't want to miss. Great stuff.

First time visit to this little gem of a place in the Norfolk countryside. Spent a leisurely four hours wandering around the varied exhibits and gardens. Had a brief pit stop in the cafe and then went to watch the snow leopards and red pandas being fed. The enclosures are well thought through and the aerial walkways give a very different perspective to observing the animals. Good value for money, especially for the work carried conserving endangered species. Ideal place to take people of all ages and the gardens, play areas for kids are many and varied. The good weather made our visit even more enjoyable. Will definitely return and even consider sponsoring the vital work they are doing. Well done Thrigby Hall
