Feel the thrills and spills of live motorsports at Glasgow Tigers Speedway, where the local speedway motorcycle team competes. Watch the racers power-sliding and broad-sliding their machines into the bends, creating a roar and a rain of particles. Formed in 1928, this dirt and loosely packed shale oval track has long provided entertainment for Glaswegians, who previously held greyhound racing here. Roary the Tiger works the crowd during intermissions, and an onsite cafe and take-out vendor handle race-day hunger. Bring a cushion for seating in the stands. If you are looking for high octane motorsport entertainment then this is for you. Great facilities. Children and family friendly. Great value for money. Excellent viewing areas including a main stand and covered terracing. Food and drink outlets. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
