First opened in 1909, The Pleasure Beach is a beachside amusement park with over 30 rides. New rides are added every other year, while some historic rides that have been around since the park's opening are still in operation. Take a ride on a roller coaster built in 1932, or enjoy some of the more leisurely heritage attractions, such as the carousel and the scenic railway. Visit the Pleasure Beach Gardens to relax at Sara's Tearooms, a mini-golf course, and the Segway race track. Refresh yourself at the ice cream parlor or on-site cafe. Admission to the park is always free, but you pay for the rides individually. If you plan to spend the entire day, save money by purchasing a wristband. Love coming here but now having a restricted time and £15 if you are going on the rides or not is disappointing. Hopefully they will go back to the old way soon. Bumper cars were a bit hit All rides..... more

Sand beach, can enjoy when it's sunny. Sea life museum is very good, worth a visit. Lots of restaurants, fish and chips shops. Unfortunately the rides were closed.

A true British seaside. Great selection of rides which has moved with the times and has lots of new additions. Past family favourites have been well looked after for families to enjoy year after year. The wooden roller coaster is a must and of course the carousel. This year the entry has changed. No more wristbands or tokens. A simple payment of £15 per person for entry (even if you aren't going on any rides) this then gets you on every ride which i feel is better value. You then get to enjoy the park for 4hrs (10-2) or 2:45-6-45. Hardly and queuing and the whole pleasure Beach was so much calmer and felt less crowded even during a Bank holiday in the half term! Huge improvement which really makes such a difference! Had a great day and had some yummy food too which was also reasonably priced and delicious. Cant wait to visit again!
We've spent wonderful time in here. Rides are good for different age range and level of thrill. We were able to ride on everything we wanted few times and still had plenty time left. Toilet facilities are good, plenty of food and drinks to choose from. Highly recommended. We will be back here if we are around.
