  • The RHS lives up to its reputation with the different displays of shrubs and flowers in the many beds. Much is relatively flat with good paths though their is plenty of "natural" spaces. Easy to...

  • A recent visit left us very disappointed, the gardens in some areas very neglected and bare. Not a cheap day out so I feel there should be a discount when things are not looking their best.

  • A beautiful spot on the outskirts of Harrogate, even on a rainy day. Warm welcome from staff gorgeous expansive grounds set with both formal English country garden settings and wild woodland settings. Love it. Safe walk ways and good clean facilities in terms of toilets restaurant Betty's and cafe tea shop. Our alfresco picnic from the tea shop was a welcome delight. A lovely day out.
  • Great day out. Plenty for all the family. Several good walks. Very educational. Library/study area. Like way most plants are labelled. Good selection of plants to buy plus shop with wide range of goods - particularly nice selection of books and cards. Added advantage of Betty's both outside (for meals) and inside for snacks etc.
