Be transported back to the 1760s at Kedleston Hall, a neoclassical mansion. Explore its opulent interiors, designed for lavish entertaining and to display the Curzon family’s extensive collection of artworks and original furnishings. Listen to an introductory talk by Mrs. Garnett (or the actor who plays her), an 18th-century housekeeper who served at the mansion for 43 years. Make sure you look for her portrait in the smoking room. Step outside and stretch your legs in the parkland along one of five waymarked walks. Afterward, you can refuel in the Great Kitchen restaurant, located in the former 18th-century kitchens, or grab a snack from the kiosk located in the grounds. Pick up a souvenir from the on-site shop. Using our online itinerary creator, Kedleston attractions like Kedleston Hall can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

A lovely walk through the woods and by the lake. Very nice views. A good cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. The house is not very interesting inside.

House is stunning. Amazingly splendid rooms. NT staff really friendly and informative. Beautiful grounds with many different walks to choose from of varying length. Would definitely return for another visit. Don't forget to like my review 😀

It was busy as expected on a Bank Holiday but the Staff managed the car park to ensure everyone had a space. We arrived in the afternoon and several were leaving allowing a car parking space on the car park rather than grass. There are several enjoyable walks with beautiful bluebells and nature to observe. It was nice seeing so many families enjoying a Bank Holiday walk. Fascinating Hall with a number of beautiful portraits/works of art. Friendly staff throughout the visit. Thank You
