Chorlton Water Park, Manchester

There are ducks and geese and I like both.

Toilets, play area, pram friendly, ducks, geese and swans to feed, even a few blackberries to pick. Loads of wooded area along either side of the path for kids to explore and climb trees. On the other side of the water you can join the Mersey path. Ice cream van often there at the bottom of the ramp. Picnic benches and other benches dotted around the water edge for well deserved rests. Free parking. All in all great place to visit. Only negative is that the way down from the car park (choice of two slopes) is quite steep. It's a good work out pushing a pram up. I can imagine pushing your own wheelchair would be very difficult.
