It was established as a National Park in 1952. It is one of three national parks in Wales, the others being the Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog) and Snowdonia (Eryri). It is the only national park in the United Kingdom to consist entirely of wild and maritime landscape.

What i love about the coast here is it is spectacular in all weathers.... giving either a beautiful spectacular feel or a wild and dramatic atmosphere.... and with so many beaches from small and secluded to huge and all encompassing.... its a feast for the eyes...
