  • A stunning journey through spectacular scenery. Staff are great, food was good. Not the cheapest journey, but a great experience.

  • If steam trains are your thing then this is a lovely couple of hours with gorgeous scenery between Porthmadog & Ffestiniog. Definitely worth picking up a guide book (was cash only on Easter Sunday) and having a look through before the train leaves the station. Recommend booking tickets before you go. There wasn't much time when you got to Ffestiniog to explore but we did pop to the little cafe and picked up a light bite to eat. You can take food and drinks onto the train if you want too but I don't believe there are toilets on board.
  • We have just had a wonderful afternoon with our dog Charlie. The whole experience was just lovely. The staff are all very welcoming. Lovely walk down to the lake. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!
