  • A great outdoor play area and a miniature train kept our little one entertained. Meanwhile the older kids and adults rented bikes from the (patient) cycle staff. The ride through the sun dappled trees was lovely, but one star deducted for very poor signposting - we had to stop several times to get our bearings and ended up cycling back past the lake to the dismay of several older persons enjoying a leisurely walk there. The same criticism applies to the walk around the wooden play structures. I challenge anyone to visit them all without getting lost!
  • We visited Moors Valley Country park on our way back home from Cornwall. The park has a lot of wooden play areas...its a lot of fun for kids. Go ape is also on site and the restaurant offers good variety of food and all that we order was really tasty. They only charge for the parking, we paid £11 for 4h or so. We would love to go back as we couldn't see everything. Great place for a day out with the kids.
