Peasholm Park
Vibrant colors and vivid hues abound in Peasholm Park, an Asian-themed municipal park replete with lush glens, natural ravines, artificial lakes, and even a tree walk. The site encompasses 14 hectares (35 acres), most of which consists of lush woodland and green pastures, as well as the Japanese-style gardens and statues. The Glen Tree Trail runs through the park and allows you to observe a number of rare and exotic trees. Our Scarborough tour planner makes visiting Peasholm Park and other Scarborough attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.

Wonderfully oriental laid your park next to the East coast, 2 minutes walk to Scarborough North beach. Well maintained throughout with plenty of seats and lots of features. Interesting woodland walls with streams and ponds. Lovely l Central lake with unusual floating bandstand. Toilet and cafe facilities. A real gem.

Right near the coast of Scarborough lies Peasholm Park. It is such a lovely place to walk around. There are several pathways around in which you can walk. In the middle there is a huge boating lake and at the time of my visit this was being well used. Lots of happy families going around with smiles on their faces. Plenty of seating in the park in which you can just sit down and watch the world go by. A cafe which is was being well used and is reasonably priced along with a couple of ice-cream vendors dotted around. Well worth a visit if you're in Scarborough at the time.
