Dante day at York 2022. Bit breezy and overcast but looking forward to a profitable days racing. Plenty of bars and restaurants if you want to make a full day of it or just grab an ice cream instead. Parade ring and stands adjacent to each other and betting ring just a short walk away. Nice way to spend a sunny, dry day in May

People come from all over the country to York Racecourse (usually dressed up in their best posh frock!). They are rarely disappointed. There are suites, bars, food outlets, function rooms, lots of parking, buses up from town, and more. Prices, of course, are always going to be high but it's a captive audience so that is a given. Frankly, if you are going to the racecourse you are probably going to have a good time either watching the races, attending a music gig or just drinking in the bars!
